Nous souhaitons montrer \u00e0 nos amis belges quelques s\u00e9quences de nos traditions, et rappeler ces traditions aux Roumains qui se trouvent dans la r\u00e9gion. Et nous esp\u00e9rons ravir \u00e0 la fois les uns et les autres avec quelques moments musicaux sp\u00e9ciaux \u00e0 la fl\u00fbte de Pan, au piano, \u00e0 la cobza, avec une pr\u00e9sentation de costumes traditionnels roumains, et pour les enfants - un atelier de peinture sur des cuill\u00e8res sculpt\u00e9es en bois. Nous avons invit\u00e9 Mme Caroline Thuysbaert, responsable de la Direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et des Humanit\u00e9s de l'\u00e9cole, \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 quelques questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EUROPANOVA : Schola Nova est une \u00e9cole au profil unique. Pouvez-vous l'expliquer ? Pourquoi ce profil ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAROLINE THUYSBAERT : Le but premier de Schola Nova, lors de sa fondation en septembre 1995, \u00e9tait de maintenir le programme classique gr\u00e9co-latin, qui avait fait ses preuves pendant des si\u00e8cles, et qui, malheureusement, dispara\u00eet en Belgique et partout dans le monde. La connaissance de nos racines culturelles, linguistiques, et historiques, est essentielle dans la formation des enfants. Elle leur permet de comprendre le monde dans lequel ils vivent, et de mieux respecter les autres cultures qui l'entourent. Ce patrimoine gr\u00e9co-latin est v\u00e9ritablement l'humus de toute l'Europe pagano-jud\u00e9o-chr\u00e9tienne. Il est dommage de l'oublier aujourd'hui. De plus, cette formation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et humaniste est une voie privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e pour acqu\u00e9rir le sens de l'analyse et de la synth\u00e8se, et pour aiguiser l'esprit critique, \u00f4 combien n\u00e9cessaire de nos jours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EUROPANOVA : Petit \u00e0 petit, vous approchez du 30e anniversaire de votre existence. Pourriez-vous nous parler de quelques r\u00e9alisations que vous consid\u00e9rez comme les plus importantes ? Quel chemin ont pris les anciennes \u00e9l\u00e8ves ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAROLINE THUYSBAERT : Notre plus grande r\u00e9ussite est l'enthousiasme de nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves et de nos professeurs. La qualit\u00e9 du contenu des mati\u00e8res enseign\u00e9es doit s'accompagner de la passion, vertu naturelle de l'\u00eatre humain depuis son plus jeune \u00e2ge. Beaucoup d'anciens \u00e9l\u00e8ves viennent nous rendre visite et nous donnent des nouvelles r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. Nous comptons m\u00eame d\u00e9j\u00e0, parmi nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves, des enfants d'anciens ; plusieurs anciens \u00e9l\u00e8ves sont \u00e9galement devenus professeurs \u00e0 Schola Nova. Ce qui est tr\u00e8s important aussi \u00e0 mentionner, c'est que la formation classique permet d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tudes, tant scientiques que litt\u00e9raires, artistiques ou professionnelles. Une formation de base est n\u00e9cessaire quel que soit le m\u00e9tier exerc\u00e9 dans l'avenir. Je pourrais citer quelques professions : chercheur au FNRS, juriste, banquier, m\u00e9decin, biologiste, g\u00e9ologue, instituteur, professeur de langues, philologue, ing\u00e9rieur (civil, du son, etc.), musicien, com\u00e9dien, sculpteur, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vous constatez que les voies emprunt\u00e9es sont multiples et vari\u00e9es ; le mot \"Humaniste\" n'est donc pas th\u00e9orique du tout !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EUROPANOVA : En plus de l'\u00e9cole, vous avez construit une salle de spectacle, l'Aula Maior, o\u00f9 des spectacles de musique ou de th\u00e9\u00e2tre sont organis\u00e9s, d'une part r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de l'\u00e9cole sous la direction des enseignants, et d'autre part, des artistes remarquables y sont invit\u00e9s\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAROLINE THUYSBAERT : La formation intellectuelle est la mission premi\u00e8re d'une \u00e9cole, mais celle-ci doit \u00eatre compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par les arts, la musique, la peinture, le th\u00e9\u00e2tre, en un mot, l'expression artistique et verbale dans le sens le plus large. \u00c0 l'\u00e9poque glorieuse de la Renaissance, les grands Humanistes, comme L\u00e9onard de Vinci, \u00e9taient tant artistes, qu'inventeurs, math\u00e9maticiens et po\u00e8tes. M\u00eame si tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ne se destinent pas \u00e0 devenir un tel uomo universale, l'apprentissage de la musique et de l'art de la parole apporte \u00e9norm\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EUROPANOVA : L'un des \u00e9v\u00e9nements du Festival EuropaNova se d\u00e9roule dans votre \u00e9cole. Il s'agit d'un m\u00e9lange de traditions roumaines, de musique, d'expositions d'art populaire et de pr\u00e9sentation de costumes traditionnels. Ce n'est pas un \u00e9v\u00e9nement typique pour Schola. Quelles sont vos attentes pour ce spectacle ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAROLINE THUYSBAERT : La d\u00e9couverte des autres cultures est un enrichissement pour tous. Ce sont ces traditions, locales, ancestrales, qui se perdent trop souvent aujourd'hui. Nous sommes donc ravis de pr\u00e9senter \u00e0 nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves, et \u00e0 nos professeurs (comme \u00e0 moi-m\u00eame d'ailleurs !) ce pan de culture mal connue en Belgique. Je constate depuis quelques ann\u00e9es que certaines familles roumaines ont une attirance particuli\u00e8re pour la langue latine (la langue roumaine en est proche, de par son histoire) et pour la langue grecque (entre autres pour des raisons de religion orthodoxe). Tout le monde a \u00e0 y gagner et cela ne peut qu'encourager le dialogue entre les civilisations et le respect mutuel. L'uniformisation des modes de vie, des types de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 est un appauvrissement regrettable ; approcher d'autres mani\u00e8res de penser et de vivre permet souvent d'approfondir, par comparaison, les siennes propres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EUROPANOVA : Nous savons que vous avez eu et avez encore quelques \u00e9l\u00e8ves d'origine roumaine dans votre \u00e9cole...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAROLINE THUYSBAERT : Je pense avoir r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 cette question au paragraphe pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Je me permets d'ailleurs d'ajouter que c'\u00e9tait pour moi une premi\u00e8re occasion de d\u00e9couvrir ce peuple, et cela ne m'a apport\u00e9 que des bonnes surprises !
